Prince Charles was beaming with joy when he was spotted making some special visits this week!

As People reports, Charles looked happy to be back at work during his royal appearances on Wednesday and Thursday, both of which saw the Prince of Wales interacting with people in important industries in the United Kingdom!

Charles pays socially distanced visit to key workers on Thursday 

Charles' engagement on Thursday saw him meeting key workers from Transport for London, who have continued working in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. As People mentions, Charles and the workers greeted one another with "namastes" instead of handshakes, maintaining social distance.

When leaving the engagement, Charles smiled as he rolled down the car window. "I don't know how you do it," the royal said to the staff, who are responsible for maintaining the London Underground.

Charles also visits farm to help promote rural tourism in the U.K.

Charles' second royal engagement saw him paying a trip to celebrity farmer Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park on Wednesday. As People shares, he was there to promote rural tourism in the United Kingdom.

Even thought it was raining outside, Charles' spirits certainly weren't dampened! The royal was once again seen smiling as he became acquainted with the animals on the farm, including a horse named Victoria.

Charles and Camilla among first royals to resume engagements

Charles also visited the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital last month with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. As People says, the couple were some of the first royals to begin making in-person engagements again during the coronavirus pandemicthanking hospital workers for keeping healthcare services going. 

After having been in isolation in the Scottish Highlands, Charles and Camilla are now back at their London home, Clarence House. They played host to President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron last month in honour of the 80th anniversary of Charles de Gaulle's "Appel"— a broadcast to occupied France following the Nazi invasion in 1940.
